NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

To: All members of the Highlands 460 Civic Association

The Annual Meeting of Members (the “Meeting”) of the Highlands 460 Civic Association (“CA”) will be held at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at Metrum Community Credit Union located at 6980 S. Holly Circle, Centennial, CO 80112 for the following purposes:

1. To Receive Board of Directors nominations

2. To hold elections for the Board of Directors

3. To review financial statements through November 30, 2021

4. To Transact any other business that may properly come before the meeting

Board of Director Nominations: Section 3.2 of the bylaws:

Nomination. Prior to or at the annual meeting, the Board of Directors shall accept nominations of candidates for the Board of Directors to be elected at said meeting. Nominations may be made by members of the current Board or by any voting member of the Association. The nominees receiving the largest number of votes cast shall be deemed elected to the Board of Directors and shall take office immediately upon the announcement of the results of the election.

To submit nominations to the Board of Directors in advance of the December 15, 2021, Annual Meeting, please send via email to: Board@H460.org or fill out this Google form. Nominees are encouraged to provide information that outlines their interest and/or experience that will help them serve the community through Board service. All nominees are expected to attend the Meeting and be open to questions from the membership at that meeting.

Dear Neighbors:

Your H460 Civic Association is volunteer led and organized by your neighbors and made possible by your participation and support. The meeting on October 28 saw a significant turn out of concerned neighbors seeking some visibility and transparency around association activities and financials. The board is committed to implementing processes that ensure this increased transparency moving forward.

All meetings will include an online option for those not yet comfortable attending in person. Due to the nature of how these are scheduled, you can find the most up to date information on meeting links on the home page of the website within 72 hours of the meeting. www.h460.org

Moving forward all members will find board agendas, no less than 24 hours prior to the meeting, posted on the website. In addition, meeting minutes and financial reports will be posted on the website within 7 days of commenced board meetings. If you have questions about those reports, please plan to attend an upcoming meeting, or use the designated emails published on the website to communicate directly with the board.

Involvement from the residents will increase the value of membership in the civic association and benefits to the neighborhood. Though we need board members, you don’t have to join the board to take an active role in your community. Helping plan an event or exploring bids for weed removal/sign improvement/large item pick up are valuable services that aren’t necessarily board positions.
