Volunteer

Hello! We absolutely would love to talk with you.  Here are few ways to get involved in the community this year!

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Community Garage Sale–early to mid June (2nd week preferred). Seeking some event leads and then 3-4 volunteers to assist. 

                        2. Large Item Pick up– mid to late June. Seeking 1-2 leads ASAP and 5-10 volunteers. 

                        3. Called quite a bit of vendors, with many not doing curbside pickup. Preference would be door to door for logistics. Discussed pros and cons of dumpsters in various locations in the community; Costs of crushing trash trucks vs. open bins for dumping. Tabled further discussion for now. 

                        4. Sandra Gwinn did suggest limiting the number of items from each residence as in the past one truck was completely filled at one address.

                        5. Carrie wanted to add a consideration about insurance regarding lost/stolen/damaged items at properties that were not intended to be included in the pick up are in place, and discussion about what the recourse would be in these cases. 

                        6. 4th of July Parade. 1-2 event Leads needed ASAP, 5-10 volunteers. 

                        7. Member Picnic in August/September. 1-2 leads ASAP, 5-10 volunteers
